Specifically, on the tracks, at the front, near the drive sprocket. I bought a pair of them several months ago. Finally opened them up to paint them for my Marines (Using Peter Pig for most of my infantry – heretic!). And both castings had bad tracks.
This is not a complaint against Battlefront's customer service. In fact, they replaced the damaged models reasonably promptly, and at their own cost. The package arrived today.
With models that are damaged in almost exactly the same way.
Is it just an old mold that they should have replaced? Is it poor demolding technique in their production facility? Is it a bad mold design? I don't know.
Is anyone else having this same problem?
I've emailed their customer service, but don't expect an answer for a few days, of course.
