The ships picture above are more like 2"-2.5". These are 1/1200 scale, so 1"=100'. Even the large ocean-going warships of the period (ships of the line, frigates, sloops, corvettes, etc.) are under 3" in 1/1200 scale (without the bowsprit). The sculptor announced this himself on TMP yesterday morning, and included a link to the Pithead Miniatures page where these are photographed, described, and might be sold (if enough people express interest). - Ix |
