Last Sunday, as a part of a longer event, we played a game with ironclads set in 1866, a sort of mini verion of the Battle of Lissa. It was a lot of fun.

I have posted an AAR at stracmark.blogspot.co.nz

Yes, lovely models. If you don't mind may I ask who made them?

Ditto Big Red. The ships look nice. Are they scratchbuilt or bought? What scale are they?

The "before" and "after" ramming sequence made me laugh.

Count me in as another curious about the models.

Were they specific to the Italians and Austrians or did you substitute similar ships from more available British and French models?

Mark Strachan04 Nov 2016 10:53 a.m. PST

All of the models are from Bay Area Yards 1:600 range. The Ironclads are specific models, but the wooden ships are best matches from their British and French range.
