Hi,
I am looking to purchase around £500.00 GBP of scenery in the UK for WH40K tournaments.

It needs to be pretty robust as it will be owned by a club and our terrain takes quite a beating, it also ought to be fairly simple/basic stuff.

I am not a 40K player myself but the guys always seem to have bits of ruined buildings and rocky outcrops!

So basically anyone got any helpful suggestions as to the best terrain I could buy to meet our requirements? To restate it is a UK club so the supplier needs to be readily available in the UK

Thanks

Andy

I have a lot of city terrain from Mantic and stuff from Maki. I don't game 40k anymore and am looking to sell it.

I'm in the USA, but the price would be very favorable to you and shipping would be included.

Send me an email and I will send you pictures.

We do ready painted scenery made in polyurethane foam. It's very robust, light and doesn't need painting. We have supplied a number of clubs who had similar requirement with regard to the care with which their members were going to treat the pieces. Have a look at our web site – tablescape.co.uk – and see what you think.

Preassembled? Painted?

UK ebay has a few decent sellers of laser cut mdf if you don't mind assembly and painting. Spend £300.00 GBP or so on that and the rest on glue and spray paint you can knock up a decent durable city scape or necromunda set up quite easily.

Hi Andy,

I've just started adding terrain to my painting service over at Marching In Colour.

For £500.00 GBP I could kit you out with several tables full of product, to just about anything you needed. Would take a couple of weeks though.

thanks

Laser Cut Card, out of South Africa, has a good range of ruined buildings which are quite durable and cheap.

Thanks everyone, will look now.

Matthew i appreciate the offer but shipping and import duties from the USA are horrendous and we are talking quite bulky items :(

Preassembled and painted would be great! but neither are essential, I can carry out a basic airbrush job on basic terrain and some of the guys don't mind assembling.

I forgot about the import duties. That is too bad.

Check out the Mantic terrain.

Hey,

This may or may not be what you are looking for, but I thought I would post it just in case it might work for you.

I searched on the eBay UK site for "MDF 40k scenery" and some items such as these popped up. They are pretty cheap (especially if you win them through auctions). The shipping may be an issue…hopefully not. Here are some links…

TT Combat has some MDF items that may be worth checking out.

Some spray paint or airbrushing will do these up nicely and quickly.

Anyway, hope it is of some worth.

Perhaps A club day for making scenery.
Lots of make your own on the web.

The TT combat looks interesting….

I don't think a club terrain making day will work. Could add more but would probably upset some….

The stuff from Tablescape is outstanding.
