If you're looking for a new VTOL you can do a lot worse than the Pegasus from Armies Army in my opinion.

I've put a brief photo review on my blog:

Great work as usual Ralph.
Keep it up

I will build mine with magnets to make them engines move.

Thanks chaps.
Magnets is probably a good idea. I had considered fixing them together on a rod through the fuselage. I don't think there would be enough friction to keep them in place though.
In the end I just glued them.

That's a nice model and a great paint job.

I need drool gutters here! Is that a cockpit interior you're simulating on the windshields?

zrunelord03 Nov 2016 11:27 a.m. PST

Drool gutters!!! :):):) that's a good one TK.

2x 5mm diameter magnets each engine will hold them in place.

I used them on my Lander engines & those have a lot of overhang. The main problem I see is that whilst it is easy to drill the holes in the fuselage ( I use wood drills for magnets ), it is hard to drill them in metal engines.

Haha! Drool gutters!
Actually, I was picturing it flying low through a city at night with reflected skyscrapers. I must have been watching blade runner!
The effect is a bit spoiled by the fact that I do t have suitable terrain.

That lander is superb! A really nice dark industrial feel to it. I love the weathering and the detailing, especially the Snoopy decal. :)

Thank you Ralph,
That's the first of a hopefully enough number of landers for a spaceport. The snoopy decal is froma Letraset dry transfer.

2nd one is here castrarunis.blogspot.nl/2016/08/scratchbuilt-lander-mark-2-finished.html

And I must agree with TK, those small light reflections are great.Blade Runner indeed ….
