Hello, I am looking to research some small scale Korean War battles. Also, any recommendations in regards to tactics that were utilized during the Korean War? Thank you |

As the author of the book, High Tide in the Korean War, I would suggest you look at the battles of Twin Tunnels and Chipyong-ni. Both highlight the tactics of the UN and Chinese forces. link |

There is also "Pork Chop Hill" by S.L.A. Marshall. a number of small actions are recounted, not just Pork Chop Hill. |

Try the two books by Donald Knox. This is an oral history provided by the guys who were there. link I read both of those while sitting on a couple of the mountain tops over there. One of the tactics I found interesting was how the North Koreans would intermingle with the refugees fleeing south and use them as cover to attack the ROK, US, and allied armies. That makes an impression on a kid as he stares north! |

You may want to look into Kapyong. Australians and Canadians. |
