There are some really great bits of scratch building there. It's got me thinking again. Inspirational! I particularly like the flat bodied explorer vehicle, and the latest tanks and turrets look really good. I remember you using spoons as turrets,(and they looked good too) but these are excellent.

Those came out exceptionally well! I really like them a lot. I might have to raid my spares bot and make some myself!

Thanks for the comments all.
Glad you like them enough to be inspired.

The turrets are built from PVC sheets, you know the ones they use for signs etc. all recycled material. I have 1,3,5 & 10 mm thick ones ( any gamer who lives in the USA at the moment will most probably have a field day with all the election posters that will find their way to a skip :):):).
Pvc is an excellent material because it is easily cut.I bought a hand held cutter which has an anvil marked with angles.Sort of a plastic pipe cutter but straight.

The flat one was made from MDF ( sawn & sanded ) the top was from a food carton & the wheels are felt tip marker caps.

As I said all l00% recycled but good results can be had with a bit of imagination. Anyone can do it. Go ahead build some & show me the results.I have tried to explain as much as possible but feel free to ask.

This is what I'm talking about.

terapeak.com/worth/45-120-multi-angle-siding-wire-duct-cutter-pvc-pe-plastic-pipe-scissor-hand-too/112028239631.
I got mine as a boxed set from LIdl.

And this

I got a CK one which cost me around 20 euros.

Remember any tool will leave an impression on card, wood, pvc etc.So choose the tools that make the best one.
Hope you find this useful.
