I was wondering what fantasy pirate ruled you would recommend? I am looking for a ruleset for 28mm figs that are pirate themed but which has a elements of fantasy in it… I am currently using Freebooter's Fate. Are there any other you could recommend? Thanks!

Flashing Steel from Ganesha Games; as I recall it doesn't have fantasy in the core rules, but pretty much anything from Song of Blades and Heroes could be ported over to it. Ganesha Games are my go-to's for most things. |

I like Pirates from Scale Creep/ Flagship Games. Plenty of detail but still easy to pick up and play. link |

D&D 4th edition was basically a 28mm fantasy skirmish game. Lots of Pirate supplements out there for it. |

I second Pirates! from Scale Creep, but I'm friends with the Flagship Games creators. |

I also recommend Pirates! from Flagship Games. I was one of the play testers. The games can be run as historical or fantasy. |

En Garde is pretty good, and can have fantasy elements. Flashing Steel is also good. |
