I'm intrueged will this design be able to get an edge over the later Abrams in US service? Are they trying a different stratagy in tank on tank fights? This vehical is half the size of the US MBT, does that work? |

Hello, GeoffQRF! It is suitable? (for T-15 AIFW)
|
Lion in the Stars | 31 Oct 2016 11:51 a.m. PST |
As light as the T15 is, that's a very BIG vehicle! It's 1.7m longer than an Abrams. |

Hello, Lion in the Stars! Yeah. In general, then, it is typical for Russia – we've got love to go to extremes. Tank / AIFW must be either big as a barn, or a tiny and terribly cramped inside. And so f*%"?g around. |

That's the Infantry Fighting Vehicle and NOT the Main Battle Tank. So no comparison to an Abrams. David |

Except for the overall length. |

The Israeli Namer APC is just as big. |

@Hazzah: and about twice the weight. What surprised me about the T15 was how light it was at that size. |
