Does anyone know of a company that makes a 25mm Roman ballista (it helps if I get the heading right)? I just need the Ballista, not the crew. I know Irregular Miniatures makes one but I was wondering if there were any others out there? Thanks. |

Just about to paint up two myself from Warlord Games. Warlord make a metal one thought not sure about the crew inclusion. Nice pile of stones for it though. Crew ok, but not foundry standard EIR (yes I am a figure snob and a coffee snob as well). |

Which 25mm Romans are you trying to match, Bob? True 25's, or something else? |

Lucius, since you asked, I'm actually building a Roman Zombie army for HoTT. I thought a ballista manned by Roman Zombies would look on the gaming table. The figures are Ghastly & Company Roman Zombies available from Historifigs. They appear to be closer to 25mm than 28mm. But in a pinch I could probably get away with using a 28mm ballista or bolt shooter. |

LOL. Is there a Tactica list for that!?!?!! |

No Tactica list (yet). But I am making up my own HoTT list. I even found some Resin Skeletal Roman Equites that should make pretty good zombie cavalry. link I also found a 54mm Julius Caesar figure in a toga that will make an excellent "god" or behemoth. link This is what happens when I get bored or stressed out (or just sick of work). |
