Hi all, I am thinking about doing the 1675 campaign on the Rhine which opposed the great captains Montecuccoli and Turenne. Problem is, I am having a vrry hard time finding orders of battle. Can anyone point me any book/osprey/website with at least size of the armies, composition, maybe even some name of battallions or regiments? Even Nafizger has nothing… |

Here is a map of the Battle of Sinzheim that shows the regiments. 1674 campaign, though.

The Marburg Digital Archive has dozens of items from that campaign. Some of the encampment diagrams (which are orders of battle, since they marched and camped in the same order that they fought) and annotated maps go down to battalion and regimental level: link Bd. 4 and 5 of the Wilhelmhoeher Kriegskarten cover 1672-1678: link |
