As you've probably seen, in the new Rules Directory, you can rate a ruleset from 1 to 10. If anyone has rated a ruleset, then there will be a display showing the average rating as a number of stars. Is this sufficient? Or would you like to see something closer to the Amazon model, where you see a breakout of votes? And if so, as a replacement to what we have now, or a supplement? |

A breakout might be useful. |

A breakout would be helpful, especially with the small number of votes likely (compared to amazon) |

Beware grade inflation. There should be nothing wrong with a 6 or 7 and it should represent a fine enjoyable game to play with perhaps only a thing or 2 that could be better. |

breakout good And so is Amazon idea of rate 1-5. 1-10 sees too much 10s and 1s without meaning. |

A breakout is useful, especially with low numbers of votes. (10,10,1) is very different than (7,7,7). I agree that while 1-10 is popular, generally, people can't be consistent breaking things into fewer than five or more than seven categories. Seven works best when it is a comparative scale rather than an absolute, so five would be ideal. |

A breakout would be appreciated. I'd also like a 0 rating, for those really abysmal types. |

Should be 5 stars max – too much indescribable nuance with 10. |

Amazon style, with five stars, only. Thanks. Cheers! |
