Do I really have to post a SPOILER alert? Is anybody dumb enough to click on a WD thread and not expect any? Anyway, I had Abraham in the pool. He's basically a played out character and nobody cares about him. Glenn died in the comics. They have to kill somebody everybody loves. You can't kill any of the women since that would bring shrieks about "violence against women". If I had my druthers, it would have been Rick who has proven to be an incredibly bad and stupid leader. No such luck. What I don't understand is the reactions on the Talking Dead right after the show. Emotional attachment to a character? Really? They have all had bulls eyes on their foreheads since their first time on the screen. I only watched it to see what came next. Don't get me started on Negan. He's nothing but a scenery chewer. He must have violated about half of the Evil Overlord handbook. I hope none of Rick's crew kill him. They are too dumb to deserve the chance. I hope Negan gets an infected hangnail and dies because he's alergic to penicillin. |

Nah, Negan will be zombie chow… ;-) |

I have vote for Abraham in the past… and I was right… but I was not expected two killed… of course not Glenn… Darryl is out too… so, apart from MIchone… there are not top killers there… maybe the new black King could help them?… Agree about Rick… he is not a good leader Good chapter. What I don't understand is the reactions on the Talking Dead right after the show. Emotional attachment to a character? Really? John, they are actors being paid to be on a show in which they talk about a show they are in. It is expected of them by the nerdy masses to 'be emotionally attached'. They might be a little attached to what they do, but they are actors being paid to give the people what they want…. So says my cynicism…. Dave |

Best review of the show (only one actually) I read today said the shows "best at bats were behind them". After the dreadful last season I didn't bother watching. |

was happy to see Glen go. He had a mister perfect / teacher's pet aura about him that started to be old. Good. |

I stopped watching last year. I saw the fake death of Glenn. So, they killed Glenn for real? Interesting. |

The best episode so ware was the TWD finale so far was when Beth died. Emotionally draining and well acted. This one was expected. Much gorier than normal though. |

I'm a fan. I like the show and didn't want to see Abe or Glenn die…It's like you people go out of your way to find stuff to hate. It's a show about ZOMBIES not a documentary. Just go with the flow of the show, it makes life easier… |
BuckeyeBob | 24 Oct 2016 11:32 a.m. PST |
Disagree Stepman3…It USED to be a show about zombies and survival while in the constant peril of them. Now its some sad reason to keep a feeble minded leader (Rick who just seems to step into S*it every episode) just to generate an end of season cliff hanger and a commentary on how bad society is (Governor, Terminus, now Negan). The zombies are just a side issue to keep the Z fans around. Just heard they killed off 2 of their better soldiers and had one of the best taken away as hostage. Not much left of the group to really care about anymore IMO (BYMMV). I stopped watching at the end of last season not only for the above reasons, but also as a protest that it takes a year to air the new season which is then divided into 2 six mini-seasons with a few weeks break in between. |

Still enjoy it, but am getting tired of Rick's stumbling around. Sorry to see Glenn and Abraham get killed. That Negan is a Grade A sociopath killer---looking forward to seeing him get his just deserts. Any bets on who takes him down. My money is on Maggie. |

My friend summarized the episode very eloquently… "Bonk, Bonk". |

I had no allegiance to Glenn, kind of liked Abraham but thats the way it goes. I did write this morning afterseeing it at the 0415hr replay that in reality extreme psychopaths don't last long. Carol wasn't there so I'm thinking she is the saving grace. |

Don't feel so sad for any of the actors no longer being on the show; They'll be a popular feature at conventions for practically forever… ;-) |

I expected Glenn to die, it was in the comics, but I was hoping that Abraham would be around a little longer. Abraham reminded me of several hobby friends here in Las Vegas. |

The two deaths and the prisoner make perfect sense. Negan does seem to read people reasonably well for a psychopath. Taking Rick out was a non starter, as he needed Rick to continue leading on his behalf. He'd identified two of Rick's right hands in Abraham and Daryl, but he'd also noticed two of the women's attachment to Abraham – that was his maximum point of "damage" to the group coupled with Abe's straight up "take me" defiance in the line up. With Glenn, the message was, "consequences" – Daryl didn't take the hit, someone else did, and again, Glenn was clearly attached so lots of "damage" there to the group. With keeping Daryl rather than killing him, Negan gets to focus the group's anger into a desire to stay alive (serving Negan) rather than just burning this portion of the group out and having to find someone else to "persuade" back home. |

As well as Glen broke the first rule and Negan's eyes lit up. He had picked Glen as the guy to go as the example of breaking the rules. Negan is lot more interesting of a character then the Gov. More troops and looks to enjoy making examples of folks. I am staying tuned a little longer but I am not as much of a loyal fan as I use to be. The whole Wolves thing was to short with no background on those guys "Why the W's on the heads in Richmond?" Did these guys not know of Negan and his crew? If so why not, they are in the same general area.. |

Well the show is starting to p*ss me off some, going back to when they raided that facility with the radar dishes, Abraham a high speed low drag Army professional let them just roll up on them with out recon, no gathering of information not learning more of what your up against, then after the raid you see they had lots of weapons, canned goods, vehicles with fuel, no gardens, no water resources ie well or water tower and they are growing more weed then any one small little group could ever use, those were clues enough for me to know that I just stepped off into something much bigger then me and it is time to go, very far from there and to find new ground else where! |

Yup, just plain bad (dreadful really) writing last season. |

Can anyone explain what the carved letters in the trees were last season? it was never explained and I don't read the comics. Was there a purpose to them? |

Great visceral episode. Negan gets my vote for second best villain on the show….( To me no one tops the governor. ) please don't read if u haven't seen the episode. I liked all his soldiers standing around watching and the sicko who snapped the Polaroid of Abraham-pudding. I suspected Abraham was the one to go or Glenn but not both! I also liked when negan asked his crony for a pen….and very casual he goes " ahhhhh yeah" great little moment. I also liked how they teased about Rick losing his arm with the ax….. Basically they saved Glenn to just kill him several shows later….great stuff. Still enjoying the

I liked Abraham but expected him to get selected. Glenn was a complete surprise. The show kept me on the edge of my seat. Neegan is a masterfully played character that I can't wait to see get his dues. I can only imagine how and that is one thing that keeps me glued. It took a lot for Rick to "submit" to Neegan. The choice he was given about his son was unbelievable and made me wonder what I'd do if put in the same situation. Rick has been kicked and kicked hard. What will become of he and his crew? |

Scrying into the future, it won't be Maggie, Carol, or zombies that get Negan; It'll be Eugene, in some sneaky scientific way (which he'll explain like a Bond villain does to his victims… ;-) |

‘The Walking Dead"s Steven Yeun Discusses Glenn's Impact As An Asian-American Role "The second of two deaths on the Season Seven premiere of ‘The Walking Dead' was definitely one of the most heartbreaking as one of the original survivors fell before the might of Lucille, Negan‘s barb wire covered baseball bat. Glenn, played by Steven Yeun, the heart of the group died. On a personal level, Glenn represented something that no other character on TV did. Viewers fell in love with him because he was moral, yet knew how to get the job done. He was compassionate, loyal and brave, willing to sacrifice himself to save another, for example, Noah. Hell, he even forgave and tried to save Nicholas, the coward responsible for Noah's death…" More here link Amicalement Armand |

Well someone in that group needs to grow a set since to me they are nothing but a brunch of idiot pansy's. This guy kills two of them and they do nothing. I would say more but that would go into the Blue Fez arena. |
