I am, but who else in TMP-land is going to Fall-In? Should we let others know what our TMP names are, so they can say, "Hi!"?

Wackmole923 Oct 2016 1:30 p.m. PST

HI

I will be there to enjoy the wonder aroma of the Host once again.

"Should we let others know what our TMP names are, so they can say, "Hi!"?"

There used to be a way to print out a TMP name badge. Is it still available?

We could always go to an arts and crafts store and buy some "Peanuts" stickers and use Snoopy's dog house for our own "Dawghaus" logo.

I'll be there. And since I don't go around with a code name like some superhero wannabe, I can be found.

Could only make Saturday last year, but soaking up Friday and Saturday this year. Life is good.

Dynaman878924 Oct 2016 4:35 a.m. PST

Thinking of going but have not decided to yet. Most likely just game at home and save a lot of cash and a lot more driving through philly related aggravation.

I plan to be there.

I am going with my son's. I am Patrick Devine should anyone care enough to speak! I have no real set schedule this year by design.I will be in the Host though Thursday thru Sunday. I will have a canned beer in my hand if that helps.

Moe the Great24 Oct 2016 8:31 a.m. PST

Patrick,, I think I've seen you before. The guy with the beer.

Rotundo24 Oct 2016 9:58 a.m. PST

Actually. I gave up a Saga Saxson army a few back initiated thru Cliff Brunken. They apparently did well for the kids.

TSD10124 Oct 2016 10:55 a.m. PST

bhall38924 Oct 2016 1:56 p.m. PST

Brian

capncarp24 Oct 2016 7:53 p.m. PST

Brian, they ought to get a hovercraft service across Lake Erie. Or you guys could walk on water.

Oh, and I'll make sure my TMP badge is big enough so that all the "cool kids" can be sure to avoid me.

Karl von Hessen24 Oct 2016 9:53 p.m. PST

VIPER911…Sent you a P.M. about your figs. Please check your email if you haven't already.

Phil

capncarp25 Oct 2016 10:45 a.m. PST

WTG Phil! Do tell Annemarie that her PA Pete game filled up REAL quick, as it has in the past. See ya's there.

bhall38925 Oct 2016 2:44 p.m. PST

Bowman, are you in Windsor? Or crossing at Niagara?

We go through Detroit and take the Turnpike all the way.

See you there!

Brian

Bowman25 Oct 2016 3:04 p.m. PST

Oops, no I'm in Cambridge. I go thru NY and then follow #15 and the Susquehanna down PA. Lovely drive this time of year.

capncarp25 Oct 2016 4:01 p.m. PST

@Bowman: the trees around Harrisburg are doing a "slow fall", with lots of green left, and yellows and oranges fading into the scene. And this was after 2 days of stiff winds. With luck, you should get to see the leaves at their prettiest.

Pirate190026 Oct 2016 6:59 p.m. PST

Use to go, but going as I can not get around with out a walker. Disgraceful what HMGS uses such a place, guess they have no love for the handicapped.

DaleWill Supporting Member of TMP26 Oct 2016 7:53 p.m. PST

Wife and I will drive down from Syracuse, ny. She will hit the malls while I hit the dealer area. Not sure who will spend more.

capncarp27 Oct 2016 10:57 a.m. PST

Pirate1900, there are some accommodations, but Mrs. Carp has had mobilty issues the last couple of years, and we have noticed the site's limitations. The access ramp is nowhere near the front door, and the elevator going down to the Walley's Basement is not readily noticeable nor intuitive in operation. There is an elevatorin the lobby, but it is small and a bit hard to maneuver into with a wheelchair.
And there is a ramp behind the buffet table in the Distelfink lobby, but again, not that it is well-defined or announced. Room for improvement, and a point that can be brought up to the new owners.

Frederick the not so great27 Oct 2016 12:04 p.m. PST

Me and SHMBO are going. We'll be slogging up I95 to get there. I'll be outside smoking a cigar.

corzin27 Oct 2016 4:23 p.m. PST

Pirate190028 Oct 2016 6:52 p.m. PST

Thanks capncarp. Is there anyway to get down to the dealers area? Again thanks and good gaming.

Pirate190028 Oct 2016 6:53 p.m. PST

capncarp28 Oct 2016 7:18 p.m. PST

The way to get down to the dealers is to turn down the road just before the tennis barn/dealers' hall, and enter either the side-door about halfway down either side of the building. Handicap parking is on the far side of the barn.

Cardinal Ximenez29 Oct 2016 7:29 a.m. PST

"Should we let others know what our TMP names are, so they can say, "Hi!"?"

Mine is pretty straightforward. :)

Cardinal Ximenez29 Oct 2016 7:33 a.m. PST

Pirate 1900:

If you take the path that goes around to the right of the tennis barn it will take you to the side doors. It's a longer distance and you'll have to cross a grassy area but you might want to consider it.

cleo liebl29 Oct 2016 12:27 p.m. PST

3 days without Robo calls telling us who we MUST vote for, no political TV ads, just the sweet smell of napalm in the morning….

Moe the Great29 Oct 2016 2:21 p.m. PST

Napalm… and gamer funk… but I can't wait either way..

Woohoo!

capncarp30 Oct 2016 11:25 a.m. PST

10-day weather outlook, as of Sunday, 10/30/16:
link
Thursday: Evening Showers Hi/Lo: 74/47F Chance of Precip: 60%
Friday: Sunny 61/39F Chance of precip: 10%
Saturday: Mostly Sunny 59/39F Chance of precip: 10%
Sunday: Partly Cloudy 58/37F Chance of precip: 10%

And if weather follows its normal pattern, the forecast will shrink toward the beginnning of the week, moving the precip earlier towards Wednesday or even Tuesday. And next week will be starting out dry anyway.

Leaves are still changing, should be lots left for fall foliage-viewing on the way in.
