All, I had to share my great victory… I recently moved about 900 miles and had to keep most of my household goods in a storage facility for six months. I packed all 1000 or so of my figures--including 15mm Civil War figs with flag stands, 15mm Macedonian pikemen and 25mm medieval figures with standards and spears. I finally got my household goods back today. Amazingly the final casualty count was only one medieval pennant which had broken off from the figure holding it. It is already repaired. I am so relieved!!! Now to find a new gaming group… |

Let's guess--will you now be known as Johnny Reb? |

I'm down in the Lake Norman region of North Carolina now. Hafen, no, I won't go by Johnny Reb, but I think "Carpetbagger" has a nice ring to it! BY |

Yank, what is your packing secret. I've had more damage just going to a game…lol. |

Don't dance with joy yet. I move Colorado to N.J. and back with virtually no losses. Setting up in the gaming room, I put a flat of figures on a book shelf and they slipped off and fell to the floor. |

VCarter, don't jinx me! Karl, I use magnetic bases and lots of packing paper and plastic bubble wrap. The magnet bases are fantastic. I was rear-ended on my way to a game once and my injuries were more serious then the figures in the seat next to me. BY |
