Anyone heard any talk of a separate plastic command sprue for the new British plastic box?

VLW 1 British Infantry in Afghanistan/Sudan 1877-85

I suppose the Sudan range commands could be used, perhaps they intend that?

Not all of us will be fielding 36 figure battalions.

Cheers,

There's two command sprues complete with Bobby (the pooch) in each box. Got it here in front of me.

Yes Wolfshanza, but Cheriton's after them on their own. Would be nice if they do get around to it, as I could use one or two extra as well.

I'm a fan of the Perry bothers always have been, but with these plastics I think its a major fail as a wargaming item, the detail is fairly minimal and what's with the over realistic dimension for the weapon and bayonet? I see lots of grinding of teeth on loss of bayonets with this set. I've been very careful painting these for customer but still getting curled and bent bayonets, the equipment straps needed more definition too, they are nice and will look great in the display cabinet but playing with them is looking for trouble. Over sizing the weapons and detail for scale is not a crime and does help with durability in both plastics and metal, don't have to go GW mad just a little bit more sturdy like their fist box of ACW. My 2p worth on them. Retro fit arms and weapons in white metal would be very appreciated by me and have the added advantage of being useful for other figures in plastic that have this problem.

Ah, misunderstood :/ Yeah, checked the website and yer right. Wonder why ? They have most of the other command sprues available separately.
