You can pre-order the set starting today. link It looks like an excellent value, much like the Calth set. I guess if you are buying it just for a good space marine deal, Calth is better but all around a very good value for the number and quality of miniatures therein. Also they have included free downloadable rules for the Custodes and Sisters of Silence for 40K: PDF link The Custodes are really tough, 3 attacks, WS, BS, S and T of 5. Power weapons and a 2+ save with 2 wounds. They would probably be able to take out a space marine squad by themselves. The leader guy is even tougher with an extra attack and one higher WS and I. Nothing looks so complicated in the rules for them that they won't easily translate to 3rd edition. I'm very much looking forward to when I can get my hands on it next week. I have a game planned for Sunday already. |

Would love to pre-order but it disappears from my cart when I select shipping to the US. |

I think that was a link to the UK store. Try ordering it here: link |

I wish the board sections were the same as the Calth hexes. Depending on shipping, it may be worth ordering from the UK |

Certainly a discounter in the UK is going to have it for a good price with the total being about $120 USD to start. I should have my parents get me one while they are over there. But then I would have 3 of them and I think they are actually leaving on Friday so it might not work. Here are some pics of my WIP Tizca terrain for next week's game.

The Custodes could easily pass as Age of Sigmar figs. |

Those Sisters of Silence are going to make for great bodyguards for our corrupt Hive politicos and sketchy Rogue Traders… |

Tried several times to be a 40K player, but it never took. (Avalon Hill boardgames were my intro to wargaming) But these boxsets and the 30K aesthetic is making me rethink that. Now if they made a similar Eisenhorn/Inquisitor-type game, I'd cave in a heartbeat. |

"The Custodes could easily pass as Age of Sigmar figs." Yeah if you gave them different weapons, covered up the pipes and vents they could work as Stormcast Eternals. But that is true of most GW stuff. Someone made a bunch of 30K space wolves out of the Chaos Warrior boxed set. |

Those Custodes look great, I have no need for the other figures, sadly, but hopefully someone, somewhere is reading this and saying, I need all those figures, but not the Custodes! a deal can be struck, or I may use the 'not Custodes' from Kabuki, link Next, I need to come up with rules for them in Space Hulk, then rules for Primarchs, Horus, and the bloody Emperor, no less, in Space Hulk! that'll be fun, hahahahaha.
