What war material would have been found at the Aldershot Garrison, c.1938? I'm particularly interested to know where the largest number of tanks, armoured cars, and artillery might have been found in the UK. Thanks. |

No idea about Aldershot but Bovington in Dorset was the home of the heavy/tank corps I believe link |

Gents, thanks for the links but, unfortunately, they do not answer my question. However, the British Military History website is a very helpful nugget of gold, which I recommend to others. Thanks again. |

It seems the answer to my question is that Tidworth Camp, Wiltshire, had the greater concentration of tanks than Aldershot. Objective Tidworth it is then. Cheers |
