Hello, all, My latest, German Legion of the Hungarian Revolt, another minor conversion using Perry ACW Iron Brigade figures:
For the curious and those with time on their hands, there are a few more images and a bit more information on my blog: link Best, Ed M |

Absolutely awesome job! I love seeing obscure 19th Century units seamlessly converted from more popular, mainstream raw materials. My only question is: will there be more of them, with maybe a command stand, or was the German volunteer Legion small enough to be represented on the tabletop by those 6 figures alone? No pressure but of course I'd like to see more of them, and some converted officers -- and perhaps s "German volunteer Legion" standard, if such existed! |

Thanks, gents, Mad Guru, I'm not sure if you saw it, but pre-blog I posted another conversion on TMP based on Bracklow's volunteers for the 1st Schleswig Holstein War (using Perry British Intervention Force Infantry Figures): TMP link As far as usage on the table, I'll only need the one unit of 6 figures (for the Legion and others). I used these Iron Brigade figures to do two units. The German Legion came second. The officer and drummer figures are on the other German volunteer unit: TMP link Best, Ed M |
