In 28mm, does anyone make dragoons for the 7 Years War French volontaire units such as Hainault, Clermont Prince, Flandres, and even the Schomberg dragoons? These troops wore a helmet, often brass, with upright metal crest, and a "turban" around the helmet held by narrow leather tapes. "A la schomberg" is the term used in French. This helmet has not brim over the eyes, but was the foundation element of the Napoleonic dragoon helmet. GdeP |
