We had a really good All Quiet on the Martian Front game today. We even tried out our new rules for aircraft.

Thanks for posting! I thoroughly enjoyed the AAR. Great pics, too. It's the first time I recall reading a human victory. Go us!! grin Looking forward to more.

As always, great stuff. I still run AQMF at local (Toledo) events and I'm finishing up some new stuff for the November 5th Game Day.

Thanks Scott!

PS….I'm waiting for the haters to say something about 'tank parking lots' wink

Tank parking lots!

Really didn't have anything to say about it, and hating didn't enter the picture, but didn't want to leave you hanging.

"One flaw I see in playing aircraft in this game is that even with cruising speeds of only 80 MPH,…"

That brought me up short; Wrights' first flyer did thirty, and several early WWI planes struggled to get near sixty.

The Bleriot XI reportedly couldn't make fifty even on the top end. Only '80', indeed!

The amount of wing with these suggests to me slower yet.

Very nice, and thanks for posting.

I'd have another go at All Quiet, but I still have a brontosaurus-sized bone to pick with the rules regarding machine guns… airborne MG's taking down an armoured alien death machine? Hm.

I agree with you about the machine guns, although the answer to that is not to abuse them :)

And in this case the airborne machine guns just finished off a very badly damaged cripple.

Nice Scott!!

The scenario is obviously pre-Mall. :)

Don,

Actually, the battle took place IN the mall :)

I love the minis but the rules didn't do anything for me.
