With the upcoming release of these miniatures: link I'm wondering if there is a good ruleset to play a small skirmish game with just a couple dozen miniatures? Or perhaps someone has written scenarios based on scenes from the books? |

Sharp Practice of course. |

Song of Drums and Shakos is great for a dozen models per side. Good for the early stages of collecting miniatures for Sharp Practice! |

I want to like Sharp Practice. I love aspects of it, but it is overall not my cup of tea. I have hopes for the new Osprey skirmish rules coming out |

Jlundberg, have you tried Sharp Practice 2? A lot of people at my club find it a big improvement. |

Though SP is made for considerably more figures than a dozen per side. Song of Drums and Shakoes for me. |

Wargame Dave I have a set of rules where each player controls 7 figs per player if your interested let me know. each player rolls a die 6 and that is how many figs you can do something with each player does something with 1 fig at a time the player who rolls the lowest moves first then next lowest you can use these for Nap. Acw. FIW Pirates and so forth. |
