Just saw this link Apparently AQMF is back in production. Great news if this is so. I really liked the miniatures.

Yes it's back.

I can verify they are filling orders. Placed an order over the weekend and just got the FedEx notice of deliver. Can't wait to get home from work. I will say that the news of the first down fall of AQMF bummed me out and killed my desire to paint up the figures. But this news has changed my toon.

Chris,

My son and I played AQFM at Texicon a couple of years ago and liked it so much that we purchased a starter set. Before I could break the cellophane on the box, the company folded. It's been in a closet while I contemplated selling it on eBay.

Not happening now!

Regards,

Scott Chisholm

Assholes run out on backers and now this.
Selling all the stuff we never got.

Supporting them is supporting fraud.

Ironclad Games are the new owners of the AQotMF IP Lee, they aren't a relaunch of AD. This thread from The Unofficial Forum explains in a bit more detail:

Ironclad Games are not frauds, simply enthusiastic hobbiests who didn't want to see a game packed with potential wither and die in the wake of the AD bankruptcy.

Lucius14 Oct 2016 4:40 p.m. PST

Nothing remotely fraudulent about it. They bought a bankrupt company's property and IP. At considerable risk, I might add. It is hard to re-launch a game.

Doubly so when people accuse them falsely of fraud.

You lost money gambling on kickstarter. It happens. Ironclad Games has NOTHING to do with that.

Greylegion14 Oct 2016 5:44 p.m. PST

Maybe Ironclad needs to consider filling those Kickstarter orders and build faith with those that got left in the cold.

surdu200514 Oct 2016 6:35 p.m. PST

Why? The Alien Dungeon issues are not their fault.

Saw that theminiaturemarket was selling the minis. So many other games to play with these.

tsofian15 Oct 2016 3:31 p.m. PST

I thought they weren't coming out till December. Looks like they hit their date

AS a KS backer, I am happy to see this line was picked up. Ironclad owes me nothing. I hope the best for them.

As long as Ernie is never allowed near it again fine, but if they let him do anything they should be left to rot.

He will do his best to weasel his way in.

I think thats being Unfair. This is a different group all together, that seems to be TRYing to salvage what was a great game w/ great potential.
IMHO Alien Dungeon tried to grow too far, too fast and ended up 'robbing peter (taking orders) to pay paul (to pay off creditors)', it didnt work and they lost everything. (perhaps litterally)

*Nuke, if I had been you, it would be 50/50 on selling or just keeping the game and playing w/and just enjoying 'what' you do have.

I can see and understand your point and admit it would go a LONG way in building company/customer relations, but have to agree with *Surdu2005 and *Moe the Great, that is:
You cant hold Ironclad responsible for the actions of AD.

I played in a couple of games it was great, the Martian Walkers and the Steam tanks alone were the best part of them game to me.
They easily can be used in an imagination WW I or sci-fi, fantasy world game as well.

Lets just hope that Ironclad, unlike AD proceeds slowly in expanding the game if thats there plan. And wish them the best of luck.

tyrela21 Nov 2016 5:24 p.m. PST

They bought this out of auction. I wish them all the best. Like others have said you can't hold ironclad accountable for AD/AOW.
