This link for 500 unpainted figures for sale got me thinking: TMP link I believe for a lot of us planning, collecting, and building an army is a major part of the fun. What is your biggest project that is sitting on the border of "sell it" or "schedule to be completed in 2150"? My least likely is A Japanese samurai army of around 120 figures. |

My 40k Ork bits may be falling into that category. I love the Orks and kept that part of my 40k collection with a thought to do my own version of Gorkamorka at some point in the future---but I don't know. It might never happen. |

For me it would also be Samurai – in my case a small army of about 50 figs |

10mm Second Empire. The "keeper" armies are nearly complete in terms of purchases, and should be painted by the end of next year. I've disposed of five projects this year and hope to do as well again over the next two years. By reason of space and scale, those guys ought to be on the list. But there are tactical possibilities to 1859, 1866 and 1870 for which you need small figures, and H&R just doesn't make 1866 Austrians, Saxons and Hanoverians. I find myself thinking of finishing the last units and then selling in a year or two. I ought to sell off the Eureka tricorne teddy bears, too. But they stick to my fingers a little. |

300 28mm Napoleonic British and French, bought as a treat for myself, can't stand the thought of all those white belts and stuff. |

Darrian platoon to be completed by 5150. These are old GW Space Marines (I think) that, if I recall correctly, I scored for free from Craigslist a decade ago. |

Foxweasel, 300 Napoleonics isn't a project: it's about a month of evenings. Unless it's plastics you have to assemble? If you don't want to sell, PM me, and I'll show you how to knock them out. |

I divested myself of most of my no-longer wanted projects. I do have a few Perfect Six dungeon crawl miniatures that I bought as an experiment. Decided I didn't want to dungeon crawl in that scale. |

28mm Essex ECW Armies bought in about 1986 after seeing a large game at Salute or one of the other conventions? |

The tackle box containing the first fantasy miniatures I bought in the 70's. I'll pull them out, look at them for an hour, and be reminded why I never finished them(missing weapons, not enough for a unit, bad casting, etc). Then, l put them back. If I added up the time I wasted doing this instead of just painting them, I could have finished them years ago. |

Lord of the Rings. got into it as it came out, and continued to buy models as the game declined, especially from others who were selling theirs. I've paired it down to Gondor and Mordor. but while I have a good amount painted, also likely have a couple hundred not painted, sitting on sprues or in drawers. because one day, I am going to do something big with them. something in Osigliath. one day in the near never as it's looking. |

I don't have any of these projects. All of my projects are complete enough to play. I keep adding to them here and there. Right now I'm working on clearing out all my odds and ends…. |
