Can anyone recommend a map (more likely maps, considering the size of the area)of the Old West? I want to put all these rivers and mountain ranges into context and I don't want it cluttered up with modern towns, infrastructure etc. Any suggestions? Doug |

Depending on when you mean by old west, a lot of mountain ranges and rivers have shifted, merged, or split as more detailed explorations became available, especially as railroad survey crews made their way west. Plus many features have changed name more than once over the last 200 years. |
