Airfix has really improved their tooling to the point where there is no comparison between 'old' kits and new releases. In my opinion they are now very similar to Tamiya – the construction is so simple that the kits seem to fall together and the builder can really concentrate on painting and finishing. I just finished their new P-40 and it was a joy to build. The Walrus is certainly on my buy list. |
