So the box has been seen for the forthcoming Magnus the Red model from GW. This will be the first time they have released a primarch for 40K since 2nd edition I believe, and they phased those models out long before 3rd edition. link I think the model looks fantastic and is very characterful and pretty much exactly what I had hoped. As a bonus there is nothing so 40K about it that you couldn't use it in a lot of fantasy setting including AoS. This will probably be the Daemon Prince for my Tzeentch forces there as well as Magnus for 40K. |

It is supposed to look horrible. It is a daemon prince, and not a Slaaneshi one. I guess they did a good job. |

yeah not digging it. Might grow on me with better pictures but at the moment there seems to be to much going on, on that miniature, for my tastes. |

Not how I pictured Him from all the books. Not even close to the book descriptions. Wings? Meh! |

It looks like the Forge World Primarch models will be puny compared to that monstrosity. |

"Not even close to the book descriptions. Wings? Meh!" The daemon prince Magnus has always had wings:
Which book is he described in? The Forge World primarch should be significantly smaller than a daemon prince. Here are some attempts by people to convert him:

Hmmm… time to do the Battle of the Fang? I got plenty of Space Wolves to throw in at him… |

That is what it is coming out for. They are releasing a Battlezone: Fenris part II in Nov/Dec. They have Silver Tower's deep striking onto Fenris. It should be pretty cool. I can't wait until they preview the plastic Silver Tower model on Nov. 24. |
