the legs mostly but really I suppose the whole kit-and-caboodle…I can identify the foot guys as old "Citadel Miniatures", but I'm at a loss about the riders legs and torsos… |

The riders with separate legs are Citadel Bretonnian knights, sculpted by the Perry twins and released around 1991 or so. Here is a scan from old Citadel catalogue showing them:
Source: link If you are planning to buy them, you might need to do quite a bit of scouring the second hand market – GW has not put them into stores since mid-90's, though from what I have heard you could custom order them from their mail order until 2005 or so. |

are they separate legs and torsos? My goal is to have a mounted and dismounted version of the same guy…Trying to build a Mordheim Warband and unfortunately my OCD wont allow me to use a "looks close enough" figure… |

I haven't got the Foundry figures in question, so I cannot comment how many parts they are. If you are looking for matching mounted and dismounted figures, could some of these medieval figures from Crusader be of use, or would they be too early in style? link link link link link link link link |

thank you for your help…I have some of the Crusader figures that I use with Frostgrave but they are just a few hundred years to early. I appreciate your guidance though. This is what the war gaming community should be about…I've decided to go with the Foundry figures. Between 2 packs of mounted and 2 packs dismounted I should be able to get 4 to 5 figures… |

Hi Stepman,
as far as I can remember the Foundry Figures of the mounted knights of the HYW you're going to order are separate torsoes and legs.

Hi Stepman, if I understand correctly you are searching for those figures, right? Actually I owe a lot of these figures, which by the way are also beautiful ones. I have both foot and mounted men-at-arms and also longbowmen, rascals and generic infantrymen. Sorry, no horses instead. Legs for the mounted are separate and some have the right arm separate to hold a lance, in two poses. All in all really good miniatures. |
