Years ago I had a vac-form fort in 25mm(-ish) scale, I think by Bellona or someone like that. It was about 30cm square, and inside it had a firing platform behind an embrasure, with room for a crew and for a few more figures to line the parapets inside. We used it as a coastal fort for an England invasion campaign. I am guessing that a lot of invadable European coastline must have had things like this, because before there were mines, you presumably had to protect your coastline somehow. It has long since disappeared, but I am wondering if anyone does anything similar? – a generic coastal fortification able to hold artillery? |

You could make up your own using these MDF kits from Warbases. You'd need to disguise/adjust the Eastern bits (not difficult) and not even use magnets if you want a fixed configuration. link
