So, SWMBO was at her siblings' playing some board game that used elaborate monster miniatures. It bothered her that the minis that came with the game weren't painted. It really bothered her. She offered to bring them home with her, have me paint them, and ship them back. |

SWMBO did not bring them, however, I have the looming prospect now of coming up with a surrogate set of minis for them as a holiday gift. She does a lot of craftwork (and has a degree in theater … technical theater, lights, building sets, costuming, sound boards, etc.) but does not paint minis. She has all three vision problems that exclude you from laser eye surgery, so it just isn't a good hobby for her. She will punch me if she finds out I implied her vision is a major factor in why she married me … |
