I was able, at last, to get everything on the table and have a big game with all the minis and terrain I've been accumulating for the last few months. We had four warbands vying for the most valuable goods in the market, all under the watchful eye of the local militia.
As always, you can find a lot more words and photos at my phlog: link |

Very atmospheric and intimidating. Kinda mindful of downtown Harrisburg 30 years ago before they started fixing it up. Not enough porn theatres and adult bookstores, though. |

great scenery – any info on the neon looking sign by the "Gin and Jolt"? |

What a crappy place to live! That's a compliment!!!!!!!!! 🍻 Those roads….did you make them, and where'd you get the rugs / market stalls? Again I'd never move to that town….. 💀 |

Thanks for the comments chaps. The light-up sign is model railroad scenery from Scenic Express: link You can't see it in the photo, obviously, but it's animated and the lights chase each other around the circle. I have another one that lights up to say "Jesus Saves", but I haven't built it into a building yet. I made the roads with vinyl flooring tiles. I saw a post about how to make them on someone else's blog and they took a bit of time, but they were cheap and easy. There's a separate post about them on my blog here: link I scratch-built all the market stalls with styrene odds and ends, and the rugs are just photos of Afghan rugs printed on my printer and cut out. The buildings and market stalls are leftovers from the Afghanistan moderns games I was doing a couple of years ago (and the guards on all the buildings are Taliban figures). |
