"Message for Weasel" Topic

Feel silly, but I don't know any other way to get a message to Weasel! This is in response to the email he sent through Wargame Vault about new offerings.

Cool! I'm enjoying a solo campaign with Company Command right now, and what I'd love is a supplement with more specific scenarios that can be customized for various armies. I know you offer magazines that include scenarios, but I'd like a small book of scenarios that would help me set up a new campaign without all the imagination I had to put into my current one.

As a good example, the board game Heroes of the Gap by Lock N' Load has ten scenarios that line up for a beautiful campaign. I've even used it for miniatures battles. Something like it that I could use to get figures on the table right away for some creative engagements would be awesome, especially if it includes both platoon and company scales.

No, I've finally realized I enjoy solo gaming much more when I'm not having to think about presenting it later! AARs are so much work that they ruin the fun for me.

I did post AARs from my Heroes of the Gap campaign, but I used free rules and Google Earth maps, and I didn't get enough feedback to make the writeups seem worthwhile.

I'd be interested to see those AARs, where did you post them?

A few people have asked for more specific campaigns and setting-specific battle and campaign generators.

The immediate next thing will be a scifi thing (probably) but I have a few ideas.

Josta – were you thinking setting-specific or generic ala the 1HW scenarios?

While I'd love something specific to modern warfare, I recognize that something more generic like 1HW might sell better. But then, 1HW already exists, so maybe that's not so much of a need.

My ideal would be something like the Heroes of the Gap campaign that I could translate to anywhere on the globe between any factions, and including various scales. That's probably asking for quite a lot, I don't know.
