Site of the third largest American training camp during the Great War, Camp Sherman consisted of 2000 buildings on 2000 acres of land. While today most of the grounds are taken up by correctional facilities and a VA hospital, there will be a week long celebration next July. For those in the Midwest and interested in the Great War, I hope you will attend!
