Once again, Gary delivered a great scenario the other week, which kept six of us happily engaged for an evening and Alan wrote it up here: hordesofthethings.blogspot.com.au/2016/09/maurice-leuthen.html Leuthen is one of those iconic battles which is difficult to make into a balanced scenario with the gift of hindsight. Given the entire ORBAT of each side, the Prussians don't stand a chance if the Austrians already know what they're up to and counter one of the most famous out-flanking manoeuvres in history. We concentrated on the business end of proceedings, at the point Frederick had worked his army around the Austrian left flank and was poised to strike. Therefore, the Austrians had to hold out with an incomplete and mediocre ORBAT until reinforcements could be rushed to the scene. |

Very nice looking. Are you sure about Leuthen here. Terrain & setup looks very much like a Kolin refight to me. Cheers, Christian crogges7ywarmies.blogspot.de |
