Fair job but needs more shading and highlights. Fig is sort of flat and could use more detail. Will not even get into the heels issue all sculpters seem to have. Fig is basicly well painted and a good job on black lining, just lacks depth.

Personally, I think she looks better than most. Yeah, could use more depth, but I like her more than a lot of female figs.
Just my 2 cents worth…

People have a very difficult job getting red hair to look natural.

You think she's flat? Just because she didn't go for the DD silicone job?

pmwalt05 Oct 2016 6:37 p.m. PST

Could have used a bit more shading to remove the flatness of the figure and given the sculpt more depth.

Not horrible, but the nose makes her look like a wargamer's wet dream involving a female fantasy Kilroy.

It's a fine line between over-shading figures like this (leading to the fugly "anatomy-diagram" look) or under-shading which makes it look like this is the first time they've been allowed out of the basement. This errs too far on the under-shading side of things and lends the figure a frustrating unfinished quality, though I still prefer it to some of the over-shaded monstrosities out there.

I think it's fair to say if I was in the audience when she was speaking, she would have my full attention. I would carefully examine her complexion and speculate if she had spent a lot of time indoors recently.

Glad you like it in general boys!. (smile)

I've seen a lot of porcelain collector's figurines painted like this.

Using the fingers in the picture to guess the size of the figure, I would say 25/28mm. That's a pretty good paintjob for that scale. Though I agree that some additional shading would improve the figure.

White Speaker?

Shouldn't she be called Speaker-in-Undies?
Or Speaker-Without-Clothes?

Not bad I like the unshaded execution. Of course her nipples are not going to stay below the buckles the instant she moves, breasts aren't that rigid, unless of course their are porceleain.
But it's boudoir armor.

I'd want a gun and a spear to hand, too, were I doing that sort of speaking gig.

I like the subtly shaded skin tones. The rest doesn't do much for me.
