You will find another interesting interpretatiion of Bosworth as a DBA battle here: link This one is based on the "real" battlefield identified a few years ago. |

Attalus, would you please give us the roster for the army said you used. Very nice battlefield and report, thanks |

It could be based on one of the Glenn Foard options, MajorB … although I think everyone now accepts the Stanleys would be on the right of Henry (left of Richard) in the vicinity of Crown Hill … Phil |

I vaguely remember one interpretation has Stanley's on either side of the battlefield – can't remember which was which… |

Nicely done. Beautiful figures. We worked had to make DBA 3.0 a better game for the late medieval period – seems we managed to get something right. OB note: I think the theory that the French mercs were pike has finally been laid to rest. Much more likely they were Franc archers (in this period a combination of Longbow and Billmen in imitation of English practice – hence they get little mention in sources other than being recognized as Henry Tutor best troops). Phil: That opening photo from the Bosworth visitors center is stunning! Great game btw! Glad to see that DBA 3 is being used for historical refights… Check out some more here… link Joe Collins |
