I've got a pile of painted Epic 40k and I picked up a copy of Team Yankee. I have no intentions of playing this game in 15mm as the scales are silly on a 4' x 6' table. However, what about using the rules and using my Epic stuff instead of the 80's era vehicles? Thoughts? |

The hardest thing of converting Flames of war mechanics to Sci-fi is the concept of Infantry armor levels and the Heavy battlesuits to FOW stats. The vehicles are relatively easy. |

What about using Laserstorm? It is inexpensive and would require little or no work to use as is. |

I've kept all my old Epic stuff hoping to get a game of Laserstorm with them. I just need to convince someone else to try now. |

I'll give you a game or two the next time you're in Bundaberg😀 |

I've played Laserstorm a few times and it is an okay game. I should break it out again sometime and give it another try. I wasn't really worried about using all the various Epic models for the Team Yankee games. I think I'll put some forces together and see how it works. |
