I've got a pile of painted Epic 40k and I picked up a copy of Team Yankee. I have no intentions of playing this game in 15mm as the scales are silly on a 4' x 6' table.

However, what about using the rules and using my Epic stuff instead of the 80's era vehicles?

Thoughts?

The hardest thing of converting Flames of war mechanics to Sci-fi is the concept of Infantry armor levels and the Heavy battlesuits to FOW stats.

The vehicles are relatively easy.

What about using Laserstorm? It is inexpensive and would require little or no work to use as is.

I second Laserstorm.

I've kept all my old Epic stuff hoping to get a game of Laserstorm with them. I just need to convince someone else to try now.

I'll give you a game or two the next time you're in Bundaberg😀

I've played Laserstorm a few times and it is an okay game. I should break it out again sometime and give it another try.

I wasn't really worried about using all the various Epic models for the Team Yankee games. I think I'll put some forces together and see how it works.
