When I was asking the team about what i should do next Darren was pretty keen I do one on Asteroids. I think he has some other project in mind that he's after tips for. Though as I have the Dropfleet Commander Kickstarter about to arrive soon I thought why not…"

Lava rock is one of the best sources for asteroids! If anyone lives in an area where there isn't any, check out the grilling section at your local hardware store; you can often find lava rock meant to be used in place of briquettes for gas BBQ grills.

I occasionally find samples of different types of stone from some lanscaping company on my doorstep. I use those for asteroids.
