Spent Sunday at the Dawn Patrol held at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Attendance was light in both public visitation as well as the amount of aircraft. Weather I believe played a part.

Heard some good speakers and saw a ton of RC aircraft. Reenactors as well.

Great place to find WWI aviation books but not many at bargain prices.

I didn't get it. I generally look at FB once a week if that.

I forgot all about Sunday, even after being reminded of it on Saturday. It looks like you had a good time.

Interesting collection. Not one rotary engine, and only one radial in the bunch. The substitute engines make the Nieuports and even the Dvii look weird. The modern engines use tiny propellers and high RPMs, which really pigs out the torque that made these planes originally very agile. But "nothing in this life has any business being perfect"…………..

I had a great time as usual. It's always fun to see the aircraft, listen to some knowledgeable speakers, and spend money at the vendors. Nice photos, Darryl!
