Of possible interest to some, especially in light of Iron Duke Miniatures' recent production of Indian Mutiny 28mm figures, this generous 2011 offering from Wargames: Soldiers and Strategy, Issue 57 – Black Power Indian Mutiny article, including scenarios and order of battles, from 2011.

I missed it first time around, not being the fastest greyhound out of the trap, and it was possibly missed by others. Enjoy.

This article was originally published in WSS 57. It provides historical background, game suggestions and unit lists for playing the Indian Mutiny with Black Powder rules.

Thanks for the heads up!

Saved – thank you.

But what kinda puts me off (I thought this when I read it in the mag) was the first sentence. The vast Bombay army mutinying. Hmmn. And I always thought it was the Bengal army that mutinied…. :)

You're welcome, gents. Thank you.

BB, I know exactly what you mean – whatever next? Overall, I'm more than happy with the article.

Hey up, how are things?

Of possible interest to some

Many thanks for the link, very nice. Will be embarking, at last, on procurement of IM forces and scenics the remainder of 2016.

Have been working on 1878-80 Afghan acquisitions in recent months.

Cheers, thumbs up

Hi Cheriton, I'm doing OK, thanks. You?

Will be embarking, at last, on procurement of IM forces and scenics the remainder of 2016.

Wonderful sculpts by Paul Hicks. What brings you to the Indian Mutiny?

What do you fancy, battles or sieges, or both?

Cheers *Guiness*

Hi Cheriton, I'm doing OK, thanks. You?

Very decidedly better than last we corresponded.

Wonderful sculpts by Paul Hicks. What brings you to the
Indian Mutiny?

Mr Hicks certainly has attracted my interest in several periods. With the Mutiny he has inspired me to read…and read…after many years/decades of disdaining the era. I now appreciate the attraction…immensely!

What do you fancy, battles or sieges, or both?

Both but largely the sieges. There is a fellow about TMP lately showing his talents vis-a-vis scenery for the "Mutiny" tabletop, his images on that thread, and his website thoroughly hooked me, it's hopeless now.
