If anyone else has bought these battalion packs, I would appreciate your advice. link The pre-1806 French Light Battalion Packs are FNBP72 to FNBP79. Each pre-1806 French Light Battalion Pack includes 25 figures, but there are two standard bearers. It's my understanding battalions at this time carried only one Eagle. Why would a pre-1806 French Light Battalion need two standard bearers? What do you do with the second standard bearer in your pre-1806 French Light Battalions? Thanks. |

Front rank always includes double command figures so that the unit can be split up into two smaller units. I only use one standard bearer (line or light) The second standard bearer can be used with figures bought seperately (I usually buy one battalion pack and one battalion of loose figures without the command) |

Front rank always includes double command figures so that the unit can be split up into two smaller units. Ah, that explains why two standard bearers are included in their pre-1806 battalion packs. Did not know that. (I usually buy one battalion pack and one battalion of loose figures without the command) Yep, that's what I will need to do, too. Thanks for the explanation, Marcel. Appreciate it. |
