Anvil Industry sells sci-fi heavy weapons with crews, for the Imperial Guard. The crews are modular.

It just amazes me how many companies there are these days with no ideas of their own. All that effort for recycled dark medieval retro future. I think the retro is redundant in light of the recycled but there you go. I guess people go where the money is. So that's business sense anyhow. |

Anvil Industry specifically is a case in point in regards to what sells. Their less derivative and mildly harder home grown scifi effort Afterlife was on a hiatus for quite a while (with some signs of resuming development as of last month) since it didn't generate sales the way the subject matter of this threat does. At least if you believe what they gave as a reason for putting it on back burner, of course. |
