I have updated the Wargamorium Blog to include last night's game set around Chateau Thierry in 1918 using 20mm IT Miniatures.

thewargamorium.wordpress.com

Only a few photographs as the game moved very quickly and it was all over after 5 or 6 moves. Casualties by the shovelful.

Hope you enjoy

Sorry – the title should of course read 1918.

Maybe Bill could amend it for me please?

Nice looking game. Are your rules available?

Broglie01 Oct 2016 2:45 p.m. PST

Thank Big

The rules are house rules as I said and are rather basic for the moment covering only rifles, HMGs, mortars and flame throwers. I intend to add more elements as they progress. The next thing to add is off board artillery and tanks.

Maybe I will make them available when they are completed.

Oh, I was hoping it was Romans v. Germans or something! evil grin

Nice pictures on the blog by the way.

Thanks Tgunner.

I can see where the title is misleading. It was a typo on my part. I did ask Bill to amend it but he did not see my request.

Regards

How do your rules handle artillery? Looks like an interesting game.

Broglie03 Oct 2016 10:18 a.m. PST

The heaviest piece on the table was a minenwerfer so the problem did not arise.

However for the next game I am planning to have artillery observers hidden with field telephones calling in some rather inaccurate artillery fire – which could even fall short some times!

If the observers are overrun then no more artillery for your side.
