This is what the GM sent me, sounds intriguing!
Rules: "Screaming GI's". 1 to 1 squad level action beer & pretzels game that uses % to hit with modifiers. The results after a hit are a real "hoot"! (Don't worry, I have a medic for each side)
1/32 scale old Airfix figures (I have quite a lot of them, but the ones we will be using have been hastily painted). A bit of nostalgia for you old guys!
Meeting engagement scenario .. Please! Really use your cover or the game will go too fast. As it is it will probably only take an 1-2 hours. Objective .. Kill all the other team's guys!
4-6 players. Each player can control 2-3 figures.
The game should remind you of the "Combat" TV show. Again .. for you older gamers.

We have another game submitted:
Time 1-?
Rrrrripped from today's headlines! Central African warlord takes mining executives hostage. Government forces en-route to effect a rescue. AK47 2.0 rules. 2-6 players. Pre-teen players welcome with parent.
The game will be structured so people can enter later with their own contingent if necessary.

First Game of the Day! Be there early to get in!
Period: Modern
Scale: 28mm
Rules: Black Ops (Osprey)
# Of Players: Up to 4…maybe 5.
Scenario: A state-sponsored ISIS cell in Syria has kidnapped a scientist from a French energy company and forced him to help them build a Fuel Air Explosive device. The same cell has obtained the materials to make a FAE device and is be preparing it as a Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED). Intel confirms the location of the material and the high-value target (HVT) in a warehouse district of Aleppo. A forward-based Multi-National Special Operations Task Force have been deployed to secure the device and the HVT and escort both to the extraction point. The warehouse is heavily guarded by sentries and patrols. Intel estimates 15-30 ISIS fanatics.

The Living History Day at The National Warplane Museum will include not only our little event, but these attractions also:
WW2 re-enactors will have a camp set up with various demonstrations throughout the day.
D-Day briefings will be given in the U.S. Airborne briefing room. Airplane rides available, check the museum page for pricing.
Pumpkin painting for the kids.
A steak roast at 5 P.M. (I'll have to get the pricing on that for you).
Museum tours.
Come for the gaming, stay for everything else!!

Beautiful area to visit. Should still hit peak leaf color season and all the area wineries are fun to visit. Have driven by the museum a couple of times but never stopped in. This certainly would be a good excuse for anyone to do so.

ZOC, do you live up this way?

My apologies, I was trying to get the game info in and for the actual information you need. Most of the games are expandable for more players. There are usually pick up DBA games. Another favorite are Gladiator games with Mike's coliseum that includes a painted crowd.

Moe-
No, I live in south central PA, about 20 miles north of the Host in Lancaster. I've come up that way numerous times on visits to the Finger Lakes region. I like the 3-day Columbus Day weekend. Times well with the fall foliage and winery events. Great area.

PS: I'll stop by the "Santa Moe" booth at Fall-In! I always bring toys or hobby stuff for the cause. Good luck again this year.

Wish I knew about this sooner, I'd make the drive over from Syracuse but have other plans now. The finger lakes region is very underrated. I live next to Otisco lake. Just prefect now.
