That should be Le Petomane not Le Peromane. A real historical entertainer and the Governor in Blazing Saddles. It mean 'The Maniacal Pharter'.

I used to live near Rockridge. It's now a yuppie neighborhood in north Oakland: great coffee, food for foodies, lots of people watching.
