I am looking for a set of skirmish/quasi-skirmish rules for the early period of the war. Something where the basing could be up to ten infantry figures on a base, with figure removal for casualties. Weapons are differentiated between rifles, MGs, etc. Maybe rules for armored cars. Morale and quality included. But really, small scale infantry combat. Not locked into the basing system. I could go individually mounted, but I love the concept of the Van Dyck mounting offerings. Here is how the figures would be mounted:
