Hi all, I just finished painting up a Viking army for Sword and Spear and I am looking to find a set of rules that would allow me to re fight the Siege of Paris. Any suggestions on rules that I can adapt for the purpose of having Vikings storm the wall of Paris? Thanks in advance. Mark |

Keeping in mind that I don't play Sword and Spear, you might want to track down a copy of Siege and Conquest by Games Workshop Historicals, before GW pulled the Historicals plug. Played, and enjoyed, them a few times when I used to play WAB. Here's a brief quote from Wikipedia on the rules: Siege and Conquest. This features rules for raids, sieges and settlements. It does not include any army lists though it does include things that can be added to the armies derived from the lists in the other books. The reviewer in Wargames Illustrated considered a key feature of this supplement in that it facilitates battles that take more varied forms than a simple head to head battle. |

I had made a 13th Warriors Scenario using the rules of Lord of the Ring tabletop game from Games Workshop (I hope this is the right name. I habe a german version) Now was Paris even at that time a little greater then a small Viking village but the rules were going well for the different attacks on the village. |

If you can hunt down a copy of the Tactica Medieval Siege rules by Arte Conliffe, they are pretty fun. |
