Pleasant reading , but the outcome should have been different if the french 1809 mounted carabiniers would have been considered without armour as it was untill 1810. Gboue |

Ty Frederick! gboue2001 thanks for this piece of interesting knowledge! There are other historical errors in the report. Ranging from oob to uniforms. Another problem is my english but the text seems readable. Ty Duc de Limbourg. I used the most basic rules I have laid my hand on, Napoleonic Wargaming by Neil Thomas. I think they are excellent and leads to fast pace games. We added "house rules" for CC since they are not covered in the rulebook. I also own Black Powder, Lasalle, General de Brigade and old Napoleon's Battles. None of them are bad but in my wargaming group we prefer simplicity over accuracy. |

I didn't know the Vienna Volunteers had a Cavalry contingent. What were their uniforms like? |
