Hi Guys
I'm in the hunt for 12 Dragoon / Heavy Cavalry horses
I've misplaced / lost 12 Perry Plastic 28mm Dragoon horses and the lads need mounts!
Does anyone know if a manufacturer how produces French Heavy Cavalry / Dragoon horses with the saddle etc etc molded on?
Can anyone help?
They can me plastic or metal,.. Not fussed.

With saddle etc molded on is tough. Plenty of people make em but usually it's just the horse (Front Rank etc)

I'm sure someone will be along to help but if not, could always get some Front Rank one's and green stuff the saddle furniture on? Bleeped text of a job though…

Meanwhile, if you end up converting anyway, Warlord do a very handy sprue of 4 P&S horses that are much cheaper again. I used em for my French Dragoons with FR riders.

ask the Perrys they might send you spare sprues

Foremost sell them in a standing position. Sold by Hinchliffe. Most of my heavy cavalry are on Foremost horses.

Front Rank do them without saddles. You could make correct saddles & cloths out of greenstuff/milliput.

My collection holds mostly Minifigs and Wargames Foundry for horses with saddles molded on, metal though.

Eagle Miniatures sell a growing range of separate horses with saddlery on, but at the price of metal figures, it might just be best to take the hit and buy another box of Perry Dragoons.

Contact the Perrys. Or buy another box – cheap enough

I agree, contact the Perry's, good people.

Essex miniatures make horses for dragoons and their officers
with the saddlecloth etc. moulded on. It may be more expensive than buying another box of plastic.
