If this year's Salute is anything to go by, 15mm Sci-Fi is really big. After a bit of research I came across the Gruntz 15mm rules. They appeal to me link and they must surely be a popular option. However, the Gruntz forum seems all but moribund. So what's occurring? As this is a game I'm about to get into it would be nice to think that it's not dead in the water as regards ongoing interest. |

Sometimes forums go quiet, but it seems to be very popular. It's talked about a lot on the 15mm G+ group and I saw a few games at Little Wars. |

Hey there, Gruntz 15mm is not like a lot of other games. It is not a game with a universe or a line of miniatures to push so there isn't going to be a lot of traffic from the company itself. 15mm sci-fi is mostly player driven and spans a number of systems. Gruntz 15mm just seems to be the or one of the most popular. The 15mm scifi Facebook group is incredibly active. link Not only will you find plenty of other fans of Gruntz 15mm there but it is full of 15mm sci-fi enthusiasts from across the spectrum of rules systems. It also helps that almost everyone involved in producing miniatures (with a few noteable exception) is also a member and participating regularly. -Eli |

We play it quite a bit. As was mentioned above, the Facebook group is quite active. There's a Yahoo group as well, but that is just as quiet. Our last Batrep here: link All the Gruntz articles, including a few unit cards. link |

We still play and enjoy Gruntz sometimes. I used to post quite a lot on the forum (many of the AARs are mine). I think it went quiet when Robin stopped posting…he's busy with his airship game Kickstarter. Some of the generic 15mm groups are worth looking at, though. It's definitely a great scale to work in. |

Haven't played for quite a while. Have a lot of forces for it. Really like the rules and the ' army barracks' is a bonus |

Thanks for the feedback which is encouraging. I'm quite excited about getting started on a project which will be creative and make a refreshing change from my largely historical interests. |

Check out the sigma event 2177 Kickstarter, might be perfect for introducing the game and getting your collection started. link |
